Key responsibilities:
Handle the end-to-end shipment process in both import and export air freight shipments (including Dangerous Goods) for CAC operations (CO & PA teams TPAs performance monitor and control) focused on customer service customer promise delivery and quality/compliance. Countries in scope: CO VE PA CR GT HN NI SV DO and Caribbean Islands.
Arrange airline bookings with our core carrier partners and gateways; pre- and on-carriage with our trucking partners
Align with our customs partner to make sure all shipments are cleared as per local legislations
Ensure shipments are filed timely and accurately in our operational systems to meet KPIs for the Product (milestones financials and claims/complaints resolution)
Update shipment milestones in our operational systems to guarantee data quality towards our customers
First contact to resolve any service disruption serving to internal and external clients; ensure specific customer requirements are met (transit time carrier selection routings etc.)
Monitor shipments to provide proactive update to our customers and to solve potential operational disruptions
Coordinate with the commercial organization on customer commitments and forecasts
Perform Knowledge Exchange with the sales and account management to ensure customer satisfaction
Calculate quotes on ad-hoc shipments and perform vendor negotiations
Ensure accuracy of revenue and cost calculation on shipment level
Support on Product farming (after the growth & hunting we need an engaged specialist to ensure our business and buying cycle is continuous thru the operational excellence and Customer experience)
Ensure all processes documents and procedures are up to date in compliance and improve support on audits (internal external & Clients ones) for the area
Implementation for CW1 transition/funding
We are looking for:
Bachelors degree in International Business Industrial engineering international trade or logistics
2 to 3 years of experience in air freight and customer service
Air Freight / Forwarding knowledge and expertise
Experience with perishable management is a plus
Customer centric mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability for conflict-resolution and problem-solving
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Proficient in MS Office tools. Cargo Wise One is a plus
Proficient in English
