Job Summary

A Mid-senior level (4-10 years only) Desktop support engineer with recent experience supporting Capital Markets/Trading environments. Candidates must have experience supporting our clients both as front-line helpdesk support onsite client support and on implementation projects as well as support local desktop applications in a Windows based environment. Must know Citrix / ServiceNow/ Intune / Azure and Office 365. **** THE CLIENT DOES NOT WANT MORE EXPERIENCE THAN 10 YEARS. THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A SENIOR RESOURCE. ONLY SEND CANDIDATES AT 10 YEARS OR LESS.

Candidates must be LOCAL to the NEW YORK or NEW JERSEY area and COMMUTE into the office FOUR TIMES A WEEK

Required Location: Hybrid/Midtown New York City 4 days a week.

Desktop support role
Onsite 4 days / remote on Fridays
Responsibilities
:

  • Work supporting our clients both as front-line helpdesk support onsite client support and on implementation projects
  • support local desktop applications in a Windows based environment
  • Must know Citrix / ServiceNow/ Intune / Azure
  • Financial experience is a must


Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (high-level understanding and working knowledge of Windows ServerR2 and Windows 7 8.1 and 10 is required)
  • Knowledge and experience with Office 365

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting and setting up Office 365 users accounts configurations
  • Experience supporting mobile devices
  • Powershell scripting is a big plus
  • In-depth knowledge of supporting Excel and add-ins a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated self-starter and challenge-seeker
