Position Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and DoD cleared Cloud Engineer to support our initiatives in developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevSecOps processes ensuring that all deliverables meet user acceptance criteria while adhering to security best practices. With a strong background in Azure environments and extensive experience in automation tools such as Jenkins GitLab Kubernetes and Docker the ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor in implementing industry standards and driving continuous improvement. This is not a remote position.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools
- Ensure work product meets user acceptance criteria
- Manage self-directed assignments
- Meet schedule deadlines and commitments with a high-level of quality of deliverables
- Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for Cloud and DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective practical and relevant ideas insights and advice
- Recommend and implement industry standards
- Implement and ensure adherence to security practices and incorporate them into the automated pipelines
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to communicate strategic information security topics policies and standards as well as risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various organizational levels
Education Certifications and Years of Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or other related scientific or technical discipline

The salary range for this position is determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience qualifications skill level and location. The final salary offer will fall within this range and will be commensurate with the candidates background and the specific demands of the role.

Physical Demands
This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office or remote setting. The employee is regularly required to sit use hands and fingers to operate computers and related equipment and communicate verbally and in writing. Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment up to 25 pounds may be required. The role may also involve bending reaching or kneeling when setting up or troubleshooting hardware. Visual acuity is necessary for prolonged use of computer monitors and diagnosing technical issues.

5 years of DevSecOps experience 3 years of experience with Azure and other Cloud environments 3 years of experience with Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment 3 years of experience with application and operating system security 3 years of hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins Terraform Ansible Docker Helm Nexus 3 years hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban using tools such as Jira Confluence Bitbucket
Required Education:
