Job Summary

Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)	Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking and Financial Services with a strong focus on Payments. Strong understanding of payment lifecycle transaction processing and settlement systems. Experience with ISO20022 SWIFT MT/MX messages and payment gateway integrations. Proficiency in tools like Visio JIRA Confluence and SQL. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills. 1. Deep understanding of payment lifecycle transaction processing and settlement systems. 2. Hands-on experience with ISO20022 SWIFT MT/MX messages and payment gateway APIs. 3. Proficiency in JIRA Confluence SQL Excel and BI tools. 4. Strong analytical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. 5. Experience working in Agile/Kanban environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end business analysis for payment systems including RTGS NEFT IMPS UPI SWIFT SEPA FPS and ISO20022 standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and document business requirements (BRD FRD Use Cases). Define and manage User Stories Acceptance Criteria and Backlogs in Agile/Scrum environments. Conduct Gap Analysis Process Mapping and Impact Assessments for payment-related initiatives. Support UAT Post Implementation Verification (PIV) and Production Rollouts. Liaise with Clearing Houses Payment Gateways and Third-party Vendors for integration and compliance. Create and maintain UML diagrams (Sequence State) and Process Flows using tools like Visio or Lucidchart. Ensure alignment with RBI guidelines AML/KYC PSD2 and other regulatory standards. Provide domain expertise to development teams and participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning. Drive automation and digitalization initiatives in payment processing.
Mandatory skills	Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Computer Science or related field. Certifications such as CBAP IIBA or Payments-specific credentials. Experience in Digital Banking Real-Time Payments or Core Banking Migration Projects.
