As a Lead Field Service Technician-HVAC Controls/Fire Alarm here at Honeywell you will have the opportunity to provide exceptionaltechnical supportand service to our customers in theIndustrial Controlsand Networking field. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise inEthernet PLCindustrial controls and networking combined with your guidance and multitasking skills will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.

You will report directly to ourSr Field Service Supervisor. This position will support Clients in Hazelton PA and north to Scranton PA. Must reside within a 60-mile radius of Wilkes-Barre PA metropolitan area.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers in theindustrial controlsand networking field
  • Provide advancedtechnical supportand expertise forethernet plcindustrial controlsand networking solutions
  • Apply safe practices to the installation and troubleshooting of modern building automation systems
  • Due to the nature of this discipline on occasion maybe required to work off-hours on weekends and/or holidays
  • Must be available for on-call rotation
  • Company vehicle will be provided to travel to company sites
  • Travel: 90% (Must be able to be at a Client site within 4 hours of a call)



Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 or more years of field service experience in HVAC industrial or fire controls fire card access and security
  • NICET Level 1 certification required
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience inethernet PLCs orindustrial controlsand networking
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong guidance and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and people-oriented skills
  • Experienced inMS Office
  • Valid Drivers License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

  • Previous technical/installation experience
  • Displays industry professionalism such as work ethic communication and time-management

  • Good written and oral communication
