HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Responsible for delivering quality care to perinatal patients.
- Promotes evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes patient experience and nurse satisfaction.
- Advances strategies that promote teamwork communication standardized care processes engagement in quality improvement and safety.
- Plans directs coordinates and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities for perinatal units by embracing innovations in technology therapeutics and processes to ensure the perinatal units goals are met.
- Assures that the nursing care meets legal ethical institutional and professional standards.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards

- Service Line Administrator (SLA) Womens and Childrens Services (JC 009502)
Supervises:
- RN/Nurse Manager (JC 031001)
- RN/Assistant Nurse Manager (JC 030303)
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Masters degree in nursing.
Required Experience:
- Five (5) years of perinatal nursing experience.
- Three (3) years of managerial experience at the unit manager or director level.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in budgeting strategic planning shared governance and quality improvement.
- Strong knowledge of nursing and administrative practice standards.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS) Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 464 (Nursing) Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.n
Preferred Certification/License/Registry:
- Specialty credential (e.g. Registered Nurse Certified in Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNCMNN) or Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB)) or nursing administration credential (e.g. Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or Nurse Executive/Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NE/NEA-BC)).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
