The Pre School Field Officer supports early childhood educators within Baw Baw Shires Victorian government funded kindergarten services to plan and implement inclusive learning environments that are responsive to the needs of children with additional needs. The PSFO provides a range of supports including information resources observations program strategies coaching and identification of referral pathways.
You are a qualified early childhood educator (degree or equivalent) with experience delivering high-quality inclusive kindergarten programs. You are deeply committed to supporting every child to feel safe valued and able to reach their full potential. You are a strong advocate of contemporary approaches to inclusive practice that include play-based learning social justice supporting children to have a voice and promoting positive outcomes for children and families.You have excellent time management and your approach is reflective collaborative and flexible with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You understand the diverse needs of children and the barriers families may experience and you work with empathy and professionalism to build strong partnerships.You enjoy being part of a supportive team that values creativity reflective dialogue shared learning and celebrates the unique strengths and potential of every child.For more information on this role please contact Belinda Forester Coordinator Early Years on
