Position Overview: The Thrift Store Clerk provides exceptional customer service to shoppers and donors. This position includes assisting customers handling sales transactions answering phones sorting and pricing donations stocking and arranging displays and keeping the store clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly helpful service
Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and change
Receive sort and price donated items
Organize and display merchandise attractively
Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
Answer phone inquiries and assist with general store needs

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Retail or customer service experience preferred
Cash handling experience a plus
Friendly dependable and community-minded
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good judgment initiative and a positive attitude
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
