Job Summary

Midland University a small private four-year college in Fremont Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach our English Composition (Writing) courses in an in-person format. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering in-person class activities developing engaging online materials and assessments providing timely feedback on written assignments and responding to student inquiries within 24-hours meeting with them individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Term begins in Fall. There would be 2-3 courses per semester.

Qualifications:

A masters degree in English or a closely-related field
A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience teaching at the college level or teaching/ training adults is highly preferred
