Role Overview
The Senior IT Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex IT programs and projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership stakeholder management and technical delivery expertise to manage cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership: o Own end-to-end delivery of IT programs/projects ensuring adherence to scope timelines and quality standards. o Drive governance risk management and compliance across all delivery streams. o Gain complete understanding of what business wants to achieve advise and challenge where appropriate and within bounds of responsibilities. o Manage enhancements of systems processes and operating models and their alignment to those of the Group and/or the Region as required to comply with the directive across businesses. o Define the scope and outcomes drawing up project plans detailing timescales resources and budgets required. o Oversee projects and monitor plans to ensure deadlines are met.
Stakeholder Management: o Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders and technology partners. o Communicate progress risks and mitigation plans effectively to executive leadership. o Engage with key stakeholders and maintain pro-active & open communication channels. o Establish and maintain trusted relationship with stakeholders and business.
Team Management: o Lead and mentor delivery teams fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. o Collaborate with resource managers to ensure optimal team allocation and capability building.
Governance: o Manage budgets forecasts and cost optimization strategies for assigned programs. o Ensure efficient utilization of resources and vendor partnerships. o Prepare and manage RAID and other mandatory governance
Process & Quality Assurance: o Implement best practices in Agile/Waterfall methodologies DevOps and ITIL frameworks. o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
