Navigator Recruiting client is a fast-growing 100-employee financial services company with $1B AUM and multiple entities and offices in several states. Established in 1980 the firm has long-valued educating clients in ways to preserve and build their wealth. The company itself has grown by 37% over the last three years and plans to continue growing. The firm is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant to join the Accounting & Finance team in DTC and help the growing finance operations. The Staff Accountant will report to the CFO (a CPA/MBA) and work with a Senior Accountant.

This is afull-time in-office positionbased in our Denver Tech Center (DTC) office. Hours are typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some overtime possible at busier times.

NOTE:Only people who are currently living in Denver will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

Review/manage the day-to-day outsourced accounting activities for the firm including A/R A/P Bank Credit Card and other account reconciliations.
Perform journal entries as needed.
Assist in performing financial planning and analysis on a monthly basis.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting required; Advanced degree and/or CPA is preferred but not required.
2 years of accounting experience (somefinancial services / advisory/ wealth management industry experience is helpful but not required).
Understanding of GAAP.
Highly analytical organized and collaborative with strong communication skills.
QuickBooksexperience is required (QuickBooks Desktop experience is ideal).
Experience using Microsoft Office Salesforce & ADP are helpful.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented organized and motivated.
