If so a Senior Residential Support Worker position could be perfect for you.
Who We Are Looking For:
Aged 22 or above (to meet Ofsted regulations)
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childrens and Young People Workforce
Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare working directly with young people
Valid manual driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with children and young people supporting them to develop self-esteem and life skills
Safeguard and meet the individual needs of children in your care
Engage with children requiring varying levels of supervision and support
Supervise staff and lead shifts including managing policies procedures risk assessments rotas and ensuring placement plans and educational needs are followed
Provide guidance and support to residential staff ensuring high standards of welfare and care
