S&T Product Development Chemist, Senior

As a S&T Product Development Chemist you will work on the product development and formulation development of our protective and marine coatings. Your working location will be in Tianjin China. You will report to Product Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high performance coatings which meet product development profile.
• Work independently for products certificate qualification according to state test method.
• Provide support as required to help processing maintain efficient processing formulation for local conditions;
• Maintain cost efficiency of products by a systematic plan for approving the use of local raw material whilst retaining product performance and application characteristics;
• Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken and full traceability of R&D
• Provide internal technical support to sales team for the purpose of technical know-how improvement.
• Take active role in problem solving of customer issues using appropriate methodology.
• EHS consciousness and maintain laboratory tidy.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or above majoring in Chemistry or Polymer.
• Minimum 3 years coating-related experience.
• Good health condition.
• Fluency in Mandarin good writing reading and spoken English.
• Good at Microsoft Office software.
