Job Summary
Inverness Golf Club in Inverness IL is looking for a Bag Room Attendant. This is seasonal position April through October. This is a P.M. position and will need to take over the duties of the Caddiemaster when the Caddiemaster is not present. Job description is listed below. Job Summary:The Bag Room Attendant is responsible for providing great customer service to our members attending to member golf bags and cleaning the clubs golf carts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Duties
carts and place cords neatly on chargers
out enough carts to fill the staging area
carts up neatly
members golf bags by starting time
to see that all carts are clean and have pencils and scorecards in them
up the Driving Range for the day
Duties
incoming carts should be sprayed down and wiped off. All trash should be removed and new scorecards and pencils should be added if necessary
entire fleet clean and maintained
work are neat and organized
staging area full of carts
to pull member golf bags by starting time
and pick the Driving Range. Restock balls when necessary
Duties
carts should be clean and placed on charge for the next day
storage area must be clean
carts must be accounted for before leaving the facility
sure all storage doors are locked
the Driving Range and breakdown for the night
all member golf bags away in the appropriate spot
member golf bags needed for the next day
Duties
water level of all batteries must be checked and filled as needed
acid build up on and around batteries
tires and black trim periodically
and wax periodically
seats with special agent periodically
the top and underside of each car periodically
flat tires to maintenance
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
-Must be able to read/write and understand and communicate in English
-Must be 17 years of age must be able to operate a golf cart
-Must be able to properly operate all golf cart cleaning equipment
-Strong interpersonal skills are required
-Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
-OSHA requirements:
oMust be able to work in inclement weather
oMust be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
oMust be able to work in small confined spaces
