We are looking for a strong Communications Consultant to join our team. You will create and implement effective communication strategies and plans that measurably advance AWMs desired business outcomes. Youll identify the best media and channels for communicating effectively and engaging various audiences. ***Please include a portfolio of your work along with your resume for consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and drive communication strategies that move forward the AWM internal strategy and narrative.
  • Translates business strategies and initiatives into messaging and content.
  • Prioritizes communications and messages to maximize impact on target audiences and business outcomes.
  • Creates effective and compelling communications content based on deep understanding of target audience and the broader operating environment.
  • Drives the execution of all phases of the communications process including conception implementation and measurement. Leads day-to-day communication activities.
  • Resolves conflicts over content or communication channel recommendations by acting as a trusted advisor to influence coach and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Improves end-to-end communication processes by applying current and evolving industry standards while complying with Vanguard brand. Proactively sources news and stories for broader application.
  • Develops and strengthens working relationships with key influencers across the organization and in the industry to support communications and business objectives.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight years related work experience five years Communications experience preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
