Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $2235 Weekly Gross
Job Summary
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under the supervision of the Respiratory Services leadership team. This role involves delivering safe and effective therapy performing diagnostic evaluations and assisting in life-support procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy under medical supervision including education treatment management and diagnostic evaluation for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Perform intubation assistance and manage ventilator set-up adjustment and monitoring.
Evaluate patient needs by gathering relevant clinical data and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Develop a strong rapport with patients caregivers and clinical team members to foster optimal care outcomes.
Deliver and document patient and caregiver education based on identified needs in an understandable manner.
Adhere to all organizational competencies safety standards and behavioral expectations.
Support department operations through additional duties and projects as assigned.
Perform physical requirements including lifting pushing pulling (minimum 5 lbs.) and standing for extended periods.
