Job Summary

To provide subject matter expertise and apply specialist deal structuring knowledge in the preparation and submission of quality credit applications. Lead the establishment of a positive & seamless client credit experience by ensuring the Credit Origination delivery of quality credit applications and aid the Relationship Managers & Service Teams to successfully conclude new transactions timeously.


Qualifications :

Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance Accounting Risk Management or related


Additional Information :

Experience: 

  • 5-7 years experience with a strong track record in originating and structuring complex credit transactions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in financial statement analysis cash flow modeling and collateral evaluation as well as a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and credit policies.
  • Proven ability to negotiate terms manage client relationships and mentor junior staff is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of market trends portfolio management and risk mitigation strategies is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Relationship Managers Portfolio Managers and Client Acquisition teams by preparing credit proposals and maintaining close and frequent contact with them and clients for their financial requirements.
  • Inform the design of measurements for value impact in both client view (qualitative measure) and the client view (quantitative measure e.g. ROI etc.) for the BCB Advances Loan Book (Annual reviews and new to bank deals).
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to determine credit repayment ability and creditworthiness whilst assessing and testing the transactional model and applying appropriate stresses.
  • Drive various process activities for originating structuring and executing credit applications including material preparation documentation due diligence and execution process.
  • Perform business improvement activities in order to improve the quality of the credit applications submitted to the Credit Evaluation Managers for evaluation within the agreed timeframes.
