As a Manager PMI Consulting and Integration you will support private-equity companies in successfully implementing post-merger integration projects and buy-and-build strategies. This role combines strategic consulting with operational project management to maximise value creation in portfolio companies and ensure integration success.
YOUR TASKS
- Developing and implementing comprehensive integration strategies for M&A.
- Deriving the target organisation of the operating model for merged companies.
- Identifying and quantifying synergy potential between platform and add-on companies
(Focus: tech software IT-services industrial tech). - Leading cross-functional integration teams in various areas (HR IT Finance Operation).
- Creating and tracking integration budgets and project plans.
- Monitoring milestones schedules and quality standards during integration.
- Coordination between private-equity managers and portfolio company management and external consultants.
- Ensuring transparent communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Mediation of conflicts and alignment of different corporate cultures.
- Support in identifying valuations and add-on acquisitions.
- Development of integration playbooks for repeatable add-on processes.
Qualifications :
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A completed masters degree in business administration economics finance or a related discipline.
- You have project manager certifications (PMP Prince2 Agile) and/or specialisation PMI certification (CPMI Certified Post Merger Integration Expert).
- You have 7 years of professional experience in management consulting with a focus on M&A as well as knowledge of due diligence processes company valuations financial
modelling and deal structuring. - You have proven expertise in post-merger integration (including IT-PMI integration).
- You already have experience working with private-equity or portfolio companies.
- You have a strong understanding of value creation strategies and buy-and-build approaches.
- You have industry experience in fragmented markets such as IT services or industrial services.
- You have strong leadership skills for managing complex cross-functional teams coupled with high emotional intelligence and conflict management and mediation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
