Description:
Detail-oriented Excel Data Reporting Analyst is needed to join our this role you will leverage your foundational Excel skills to support data-driven decision-making across various departments. You will work closely with system developers database administrators and operational users to enhance data organization reporting and visualization processes.
Responsibilities
Lead the creation and maintenance of complex Excel spreadsheets ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Support data analysis initiatives by preparing datasets and performing preliminary data validation and cleaning.
Collaborate with team members to develop standardized reporting templates and dashboards to streamline data presentation.
Participate in the documentation of processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
Report and dashboard creation: Design build and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and present findings clearly.
Automation: Develop and implement VBA macros and other scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline reporting processes.
Data management: Use tools to clean transform and consolidate large datasets ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support business strategies.
Problem-solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within spreadsheets and data models.
Documentation and support: Document processes best practices and provide training to other users.
Required skills and qualifications
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel including formulas pivot tables data visualization tools and building dashboards.
Experience with creating end user reports from complex Excel datasets
Knowledge of automation tools like VBA and Power Query.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience with data validation and data integrity checks.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of accountability.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and features.
Experience and knowledge of data visualization tools or reporting software.
