- People Operations & Employee Lifecycle: Coordinate end-to-end onboarding (pre-hire documentation background checks as applicable HRIS setup orientation) and offboarding (notifications exit interviews asset recovery HRIS updates); execute lifecycle changes (promotions transfers salary changes leave requests) andmaintainaccurateemployee records in the HRIS and personnel files; partnerwith managersto ensuretimely high-quality employee experience touchpoints (probation reviews performance cycles goal setting).
- Employee Relations (ER): Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns; log issues gather facts and escalate appropriately to HR leadership/legal; coach managers on policy interpretation and consistent practices; help draft documentation (warnings PIPs) aligned with local requirements.
- Benefits & Payroll Coordination: Administer Mexico benefits programs (enrollment changes employee communications) and liaise with brokers/providers to resolve issues; coordinate with Payroll/Finance and external partners on monthly payroll inputs (new hires changes leaves terminations) andvalidateoutputs; support annual/seasonal processes (e.g. year-end adjustments bonuses vacation accruals) and ensure statutory benefits are properly administered.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain compliant HR documentation and processes aligned to Mexico labor regulations and company policies; prepare routine HR metrics and ad-hoc reports (headcount turnover leave demographics) and support audits as needed; track and implement policy updates; deliver trainings and employee communications for Mexico.
- Entity Setup & Growth Enablement: Assist with the HR requirements forestablishingand scaling our Mexico entity (e.g. policy localization benefits benchmarking vendor selection process design); help evaluate and onboard local HR vendors (payroll benefits immigration counsel) and drive continuous improvement.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion an inclusive values-driven culture; support recognition engagement surveys and onsite events.
What youll need to be successful in this role:
- 4-7 years of progressive HR Generalist / People Operations experience supporting employees in Mexico.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English written and verbal; able to localize policies and communications.
- Strongworking knowledge of Mexico HR practices and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience with HRIS (Workdaya plus) and collaboration and AI tools; strong Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills to support reporting.
- Sound judgement discretion and a calm service-orientedapproach;capable of handling sensitive matters and balancing employee and business needs.
- Ability to work onsite and support a hybrid or in-person work culture.
