Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Client Services & Order Management Specialist to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client POs to ensure compliance.
Salary: $20- $28/hour (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments & assist with customer pickup and return of samples
- Review customer POs and enter work orders
- Verify that orders received include all necessary paperwork to allow for proper testing of samples
- Contact customers over PO discrepancies or to obtain additional test detail
- Serve as a point of contact for customers assisting them with order status updates
- Distribute entered sample/material to required processing departments
- Work with Production and Laboratory personnel to expedite work
- Ensure that requirements for Subcontracting of work are met and generate required documentation upon request
- Alert staff to expedite/ rush work and follow-up on issues
- Promptly address revised POs for work in progress by entering the new POs into the system and communicating changes to appropriate department supervisor
- Interact with internal departments on questions or issues related to particular projects
- Assists with coordination of production quality and process improvements
- Ensures all work is performed in accordance with company safety and quality policies and procedures and regulatory agency regulations
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management
Skills / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration or related field preferred
24 years of experience in customer service order management or administrative supportpreferably in a testing laboratory or technical services environment
Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data entry documentation and PO review
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage client inquiries and coordinate across departments
Highly organized with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting with commitment to safety quality and process compliance
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities technical data technology software and services. U.S. citizenship U.S. legal permanent resident status protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization including if required an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerces Bureau of Industry and Security the U.S. Department of States Office of Defense Trade Controls or other applicable government agency.
