What You Will Be Doing
Lead complex multidisciplinary electronics-based New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects ensuring predictable delivery cost control and on-time execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders driving project success through strong technical leadership and cross-functional coordination.
Manage project scope schedule budget and risk for high-impact initiatives while mentoring other project managers.
Own end-to-end delivery of high-complexity projects ensuring objectives related to scope schedule budget and quality are met.
Act as the main customer interface throughout assigned projects maintaining transparent communication and managing expectations.
Lead cross-functional teams in developing and refining NPD and NPI project proposals including scope definition scheduling cost estimation and resource planning.
Plan coordinate and manage all project phases from concept development through manufacturing transfer.
Coordinate deliverables and communications across engineering quality procurement and manufacturing teams.
Maintain detailed project plans schedules and budgets providing regular status updates and reports.
Track project milestones manage task dependencies and proactively identify mitigate and resolve risks and issues.
Clearly communicate project status risks and next steps to both internal stakeholders and customers.
Manage scope changes in collaboration with the PMO Manager and Account Managers.
Mentor and support the professional development of other project managers.
Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting the development of PMO processes templates and tools.
Foster a collaborative and accountable project environment that emphasizes quality efficiency and technical excellence.
Identify and pursue opportunities to deliver added value for customers and the organization beyond baseline project scope.
Experience You Will Need
5-10 years of experience managing complex technical projects within electronics product development engineering services or contract manufacturing environments.
Proven success leading multidisciplinary project teams through design verification regulatory approval and manufacturing transfer.
Demonstrated experience managing projects in regulated industries with a strong preference for medical devices; experience in automotive defense or other complex product sectors is also valued.
Ability to manage multiple medium- to large-scale complex projects simultaneously.
Strong technical understanding of electronics embedded systems and multidisciplinary product development processes.
Familiarity with manufacturing and NPI principles including DFM/DFT verification and validation and transfer to production.
Working knowledge of FDA medical product guidelines and ISO 13485 standards.
Proficiency with project planning scheduling and shared resource management tools; Microsoft Project experience is preferred.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred; Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience is a plus.
