Job Summary

The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for managing new business implementations. This role supports the ongoing needs of the business while ensuring best practices are implemented. This role is a high visibility customer facing position which requires acting as the primary point of contact during the implementation lifecycle.

The chosen candidate must live in the Des Moines metro area to come onsite as needed.

Position Responsibilities may include but not limited to

    • Prepare detailed project implementation plans manage the plan and prepare and implement programs while effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Identify potential issues/ risks
    • Proactively communicate project requirements to external and internal project teams as required
    • Prioritize project tasks manage timelines maintain project plans and communicates status to team members and senior management
    • Plan lead and organize multiple projects and adhere to the business partners expectations
    • Develop project timelines and detailed work plans
    • Ensure projects are implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements
    • Provide customer warm handoff to field-based Territory Managers or Sales Directors when implementation is complete
    • Ensure all customer information and communications are efficiently and consistently completed and documented in CRM
    • Ensure a smooth transition to operations and sales post launch
    • Update/ maintain the operations CRM answer questions from other departments and research contracts

Required Skills and Experience

    • High school Diploma or GED with 5 years of healthcare experience and/or project management experience (OR) applicable Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience in Healthcare Provider Relations Account Management Healthcare Administration Project Management or other relevant experience
    • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work collaboratively
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Required skills: Strong Microsoft office skills Outlook Word Excel Teams and PowerPoint
    • Strong written and verbal communication and organizations skills
    • Ability to adapt to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to meet deadlines and implement prioritization skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Bachelors degree in healthcare related field
    • Experience supporting customer service engagements remotely
    • 2 years of healthcare experience in long term/managed care home health hospital or medical equipment
    • Experience with CRM Salesforce or similar software
    • Experience working with billing claims and authorizations
    • Previous knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare benefit programs
    • Experience with Smartsheet and/ or other project management software

Physical Requirements

    • Repetitive motions that include the wrists hands and/or fingers
    • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
    • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
