Job Summary:
Oivi is seeking an Image Processing Engineer who is passionate about advancing image quality and improving image signal processing workflows. The role requires a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical engineering experience particularly in imaging pipelines fundus imaging optics and sensor technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing cutting-edge image processing solutions for medical diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and optimize image processing algorithms to enhance fundus image quality.
- Analyze and improve image signal processing pipelines for performance and innovation.
- Apply fundus imaging knowledge to ensure clinical relevance and ophthalmic standards.
- Collaborate with optics and sensor teams to integrate hardware insights into algorithms.
- Research emerging trends in optics sensors and medical imaging for next-generation advancements.
- Validate and benchmark image processing modules for robustness and real-world performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in image signal processing theory (denoising color correction HDR reconstruction etc.).
- Hands-on experience with image processing libraries (OpenCV MATLAB) and ML frameworks.
- Proficiency in C/C Python or MATLAB for algorithm development.
- Deep understanding of optics and sensor technologies including camera pipelines and ISP design.
- Familiarity with fundus imaging techniques and ability to translate theory into practice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI-driven image enhancement and ML models for medical imaging.
- Knowledge of real-time embedded systems GPU/FPGA acceleration.
- Background in ophthalmic or medical imaging projects.
- Strong communication skills with ability to work across hardware clinical and research teams.
