• Architect design and engineer highly available scalable and secure cloud solutions across AWS and
Azure supporting both existing and new cloud-native applications.
• Lead automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform CloudFormation Ansible and
other automation frameworks to ensure repeatable reliable deployments.
• Establish and enforce DevOps best practices for CI/CD observability configuration and release
automation.
• Mentor junior engineers on pipelines automation workflows and operational excellence.
• Drive identity/access management (IAM) encryption monitoring and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to implement and maintain cloud security controls
conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to standards such as HIPAA and SOC2.
• Optimize cloud performance and costs by conducting usage analysis rightsizing workloads and
improving overall architecture efficiency.
• Drive the migration and modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native resilient and
performant architectures.
• Partner with application development teams to design end-to-end cloud solutions aligned with business
performance and security requirements.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies evaluate new tools and services and provide technical
leadership on their adoption within ARCHER.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide Tier 3 support rapid incident response and root-cause
analysis across production cloud environments.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by the Sr. Director Infrastructure & Security.
Must Have Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science Engineering or a related technical field
• 8 years of experience designing implementing and operating complex cloud environments
• 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Expert-level understanding of key AWS services (e.g. EC2/S3/VPC/IAM/RDS) and/or Azure equivalents
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Ansible
CloudFormation etc.
• Strong background in DevOps CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab GitHub Actions Azure
DevOps etc.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices compliance frameworks and implementation of
security controls
• Demonstrated ability to optimize cloud spend and improve architecture efficiency
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Bash
