Job Summary
To support our Accounting team we are searching for a Senior Accountant (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
Tasks
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Monitoring of end-to-end processes in the accounts payable area of the group
- Ensuring proper periodic accounting as well as the quality and reliability of P&L and balance sheet positions
- Taking on project responsibility for the further development and optimization of ongoing accounting processes (interfaces)
- Assessing accounting and tax-related issues business transactions and matters
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Collaborating with auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
WHO YOU ARE
- Completed commercial training preferably with further qualification as a certified accountant/tax specialist or a degree along with relevant professional experience in accounts payable accounting (at least 3 years)
- Knowledge of HGB and German tax laws
- Proficient in common MS Office applications especially Excel
- Experience with DATEV or similar finance and accounting software is a strong plus
- Quick comprehension and strong process understanding combined with a careful independent and structured working style
- Very good German skills and good English skills
