Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Sterling VA (Plant: 4106 Wheeler Ave. Alexandria VA 22304)
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Compensation: $65000 $75000 annually
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders only

Work Schedule:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician ensures the efficient and reliable operation of high-speed processing and packaging equipment in a food manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting repairing and maintaining production machinery to minimize downtime while upholding strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot install repair and maintain production and processing machinery
Work with hydraulic pneumatic and robotic systems motors pumps conveyors and cooking equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
Develop and perform preventive maintenance programs
Accurately complete maintenance logs work orders and reports
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures
Support setup startup adjustments shutdowns and equipment changeovers

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of control systems
Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Manufacturing or food production experience strongly preferred
Commitment to safety reliability and continuous improvement
