Join an internationally recognized designer manufacturer and marketer of resistive foil technology sensors and sensor-based systems as a Full-Time Assembler at VPGs location in Wendell NC. The Assembler will perform fabrication functions in the production of devices. They will also support policies & procedures to promote continuous improvement to the quality of the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Read understand and follow all forms of procedures processes work orders and any related documentation to produce high quality products. Following and comprehending SOPs is vital at all times.
  • Use of magnifiers microscopes small hand tools tweezers scalpels and razor blades.
  • Works with chemicals and solutions.
  • Responsible to operate maintain and perform housekeeping tasks for machine/equipment.
  • System usage may be required for use processing work orders.
  • Responsible for material expiration date control as outlined in the process.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of production/manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of the day
  • Good penmanship basic math skills and good hand/eye coordination
  • Hair nets lab coats and smocks must be worn
