Sentara is currently hiring a Registered Nursefor the Same Day Surgery Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
This is a Part-Time RNposition with rotating shifts located in Norfolk VA.

Job Requirements:
RN-Associates Degree OR RN-Bachelors Level Degree ORRN-Diploma (Non-degree) OR RN-Doctorate Level Degree ORRN-Masters Level Degree
Required:
Registered Nurse
Preferred: Basic Life Support
New Hire Education Requirement:
All Registered Nurses who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to successfully obtain their BSN within 5 years of hire. BSN or MSN preferred. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Critical Care/IMCU/EP/Advanced Heart Failure Center/SMG Cardiology Practices- ACLS within 1 year of hire; Emergency Care - ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire; de-escalation and physical intervention training within 90 days of hire.
For designated Oncology units Oncology Care ONS/ONCC or Sentara approved course Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire. Womens Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire. Behavioral Health - De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
Inpatient Pediatrics. PALS within 6 months of hire. All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
