Role description:

The Global People Shared Services (GPSS) Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering efficient and high-quality People Administration support to the business. This includes managing requests through the People Assist platform and adhering to defined service level agreements.

As a member of the centralized GPSS Team the Specialist operates within a specific service area. They provide second-tier support for more specialized processes and act as an escalation point when a process cannot be managed within the first tier of the service model.

In addition to their primary responsibilities the specialist is also responsible for processing complex requests that require analysis investigation critical thinking and collaboration with colleagues and third parties to ensure that all aspects of the request are thoroughly examined and resolved effectively.

To maintain efficient operations the Specialist is also responsible for regularly updating process documentation ensuring that all protocols and ways of working are well-defined and easily accessible by the GSSC People Services Team promoting consistency and accuracy in service delivery.

Role accountabilities:

As theGSSC People Reporting Specialist your role will center on delivering impactful People and HR reports. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and Delivering Reports:

  • Create maintain and distribute recurring and ad-hoc People and HR reports including metrics such as headcount turnover diversity employee engagement and other key indicators.
  • Ensure that data sources and reporting methodologies are consistent with organizational standards.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and patterns providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in reporting to ensure data integrity.

Ensuring Data Accuracy:

  • Regularly audit People and HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency within the system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to address data issues and discrepancies promptly.

Supporting Compliance:

  • Ensure all reports align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements including data privacy standards like GDPR.

Collaborating with Stakeholders:

  • Partner with HR People Operations and leadership teams to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for reporting processes and tools.

Process Improvements:

  • Participate in or lead projects aimed at enhancing reporting systems workflows and processes within the GSSC People Services team.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems or tools including managing change and preparing documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A bachelors degree in any field.
  • Preferably you should have 3-4 years of experience in People teams preferably in People Shared Services or relevant customer service experience.
  • A good understanding of the Shared Services concept and its key deliverables is necessary.
  • You should possess the ability to prioritize and complete workloads within a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining professional networks is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital as you will be interacting with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Willingness to work on different shifts.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change are important qualities for this role.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS preferably with experience in Oracle HCM is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications is necessary.
  • You should be able to easily adapt to the organizations work rules and processes.
  • The ability to work independently and manage basic tasks while meeting service quality and turnaround objectives is crucial.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Being process-oriented and having keen attention to detail are important aspects of this of compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
