We are looking for an Executive Secretary-cum-ESG Executive to provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the General Manager and to advocate the hotels Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This role requires a highly organized proactive and resourceful individual with strong coordination and communication skills capable of balancing executive-level support with sustainability project management.

Job Summary

  1. Executive Support
  • Provide full secretarial and administrative support to the General Manager & Director of Operations including calendar management meeting coordination report preparation and correspondence handling.
  • Liaise professionally with internal departments external partners and corporate offices.
  • Prepare presentation materials meeting minutes and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Assist in the coordination of key hotel activities events and management communications.

  1. ESG Function
  • Coordinate track and report on the hotels ESG initiatives and progress in alignment with Shangri-La Groups sustainability strategy.
  • Support implementation of environmental and community engagement programs.
  • Maintain records of sustainability data metrics and reporting to Corporate Office.
  • Collaborate with departments to drive awareness and participation in ESG-related activities and training.
  • Assist in preparing ESG reports audits and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration Hospitality Environmental Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin is an advantage.
  • High level of integrity discretion and professionalism.
  • Passionate about sustainability and community engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and digital communication tools
