We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the day to day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting. The role is ideal for someone who is analytical enjoys problem solving and is eager to grow their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry prepare deposits
Prepare and post journal entries for month end and year end close processes
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform account reconciliations including bank statements credit card statements and resolve discrepancies
Accounts payable and receivable functions
Contribute to process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Perform other administrative and financial tasks as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field
1-3 years experience in accounting or related role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar)
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
