Location: Providence RI 02908
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $55 $58 per hour
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join the Acute Care team at a leading hospital in Providence RI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients across orthopedic medical surgical ICU and emergency units.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate plan and implement individualized treatment programs to restore patient mobility and function.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
Provide education to patients and families on exercises mobility techniques and post-discharge care.
Monitor document and report patient progress in accordance with hospital standards.
Ensure safe and effective use of therapy equipment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning as required.
Float between units as needed to support patient care continuity.
Requirements:
Active Rhode Island Physical Therapy License (required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care (first-time travelers with acute care experience welcome)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Willingness to float between units as needed
