Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the payroll team providing guidance coaching and performance oversight.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Develop and implement payroll policies controls and best practices to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity.
- Partner with HR Finance and Legal teams to ensure accurate employee data benefits integration and financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Monitor and report on payroll KPIs providing insights and analytics to support business decisions.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting HR or related field; payroll certification preferred.
- 10 years of payroll experience including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations (India and Europe strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP Activpayroll or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex processes under tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
