Are you looking to build a career in project management while making a real difference in peoples lives Join the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub as an Apprentice Project Officer and support the delivery of the Connect to Work programmehelping individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment find meaningful work.

This is a developmental role where you will work towards the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification.

As an Apprentice Project Officer you will:

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Connect to Work programme team.
  • Assist in planning coordinating and delivering programme activities and events.
  • Manage team calendars inboxes and meeting logistics.
  • Support data input reporting and analysis using tools like Excel Power BI and CRM systems.
  • Help with marketing and communications including social media and website updates.

What were looking for:

  • 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including English and Maths.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel Teams).
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.

This is an apprenticeship role and is not suitable for candidates who already hold a project management qualification at Level 4 or above. The successful candidate must be eligible for apprenticeship funding and willing to undertake the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship as part of the role.
