Job Description: Youll be the critical link ensuring seamless cross-border real estate transactions between the U.S. and Mexico. This role puts your Mexican legal expertise at the centre of international property deals where your knowledge of local laws and regulations directly impacts successful closings. Youll collaborate with an experienced U.S. legal team while maintaining the autonomy to guide Mexican law compliance and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support complex real estate transactions involving Mexican properties from initial review through closing
- Provide expert guidance on Mexican real estate laws regulations and compliance requirements
- Review and prepare transaction documentation ensuring adherence to Mexican legal standards
- Coordinate with Mexican government agencies notaries and local legal professionals as needed
- Collaborate with U.S. legal team to bridge jurisdictional requirements and processes
- Conduct due diligence on Mexican property titles liens and regulatory compliance
- Assist with cross-border documentation translation and legal interpretatio
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving Mexican real estate regulations and market conditions
Requirements:
- Paralegal certification or attorney license in Mexico with current legal authorization to practice
- Extensive experience in Mexican real estate transactions and property law
- Strong understanding of Mexican regulatory frameworks affecting real estate
- Fluency in English for seamless communication with U.S. legal team
- Proven ability to work remotely and manage cross-border collaboratio
