Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Information Systems or related field (Masters degree preferred).
Minimum 12 years of experience in program management with a proven track record of leading large-scale finance systems implementations preferably Work-day Finance in professional services or similar environments.
Project management certifications required PMP PMI-ACP or equivalent (additional Workday-related certifications are highly valued).
Strong understanding Workday Finance configurations integrations and deployment methodologies.
Strong understanding of finance processes accounting principles and industry-specific challenges.
Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
Expertise in milestone tracking project reporting and the use of industry-standard project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
We are seeking an accomplished Strategic Workday Implementation Program Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end deployment of Workday Finance solutions for a leading professional services client in the United States.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 12 years of progressive experience in Workday implementation (preferably Finance implementation) program management and stakeholder engagement within large complex organizations with project management certifications and an outstanding ability to manage critical milestones in large-scale initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full lifecycle of Workday Finance (preferably) or HCM implementation programs including planning execution monitoring and successful delivery ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
Establish monitor and rigorously manage critical milestones and deliverables to ensure project success and timely completion proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to keep the program on track.
Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors business stakeholders technical teams and third-party vendors throughout the project.
Develop comprehensive program plans including scope timelines resource allocation risk management and change management strategies.
Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance HR IT and business operations to ensure seamless integration and adoption of Workday Finance modules.
Manage project budgets track financial performance and report on progress to senior leadership and client executives.
Lead and mentor project teams fostering a culture of excellence accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls throughout the implementation process.
Champion change management and training initiatives to maximize user adoption and realization of business benefits.
