About the role Mō te tūranga mahi
As a Senior Finance Operations Officer youll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy efficiency and integrity of our financial activities. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable processing invoices reconciling accounts administering purchasing card programs and overseeing reimbursements. Youll also perform daily bank reconciliations maintain fixed asset records and contribute to month-end and year-end reporting tasks.
As a Senior in the team youll take on responsibility for resolving complex financial issues and escalating them when necessary. You will address system anomalies support process improvements and ensure compliance with tax regulations and policies. This role involves using your expertise in problem-solving and data analysis to enhance financial practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.
This is a Wellington based role.
Indicative salary range for this role is $63696 - $82430 with appointment depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
About you Mōu
Were looking for someone with a curious mindset and a solid understanding of accounting principles and finance operations. Well-developed self-management skills are required as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Youll bring at least 2-3 years of experience in finance operations have proven data analysis and problem-solving skills and bring the ability to coach and mentor others in the team.
