DevOps Engineer AWS

Initial 6-month Contract Role

2 days a week in London office

340 - 350 Inside IR35

Were looking for a DevOps Engineer with AWS expertise; the ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native technologies DevOps tools and secure development. This role involves hands-on platform maintenance and regular updates across GitHub and related systems.

As an DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:

Build deploy and monitor cloud solutions using AWS services (Lambda API Gateway CloudWatch ECS ECR DynamoDB S3).
Integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub workflows.
Design and manage applications using Apigee Edge and X overseeing the full API lifecycle driving strategy and enhancing integrations with analytics.
Enforce security best practices manage API access (OAuth API keys JWT) remediate vulnerabilities and align with compliance standards in collaboration with security teams.

Proven skills and experience to help you succeed in this role:

Skilled in deploying microservices with AWS ECS ECR and Fargate.
Proficient in Python and Docker for building and containerizing secure scalable applications.
Strong knowledge ofAPI management including design patterns performance tuning and analytics.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and enterprise application architecture with a focus on reliability and security.
You will need to be eligible to go through SC Clearance (essential)
