Job Description:
The Multi-Skilled Technician should possess expertise in different field while also being flexible on the work location and assignment.
Multi-skilled Technician is responsible for the maintenance repair and smooth operation of all facilities and building systems ensuring a safe clean and efficient environment. This includes HVAC plumbing electrical systems lighting security and other facility-related systems. The role involves proactive and reactive maintenance troubleshooting and addressing any issues that may arise within the facility.
- General Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing fire alarms security systems lighting and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct minor carpentry painting and general facility upkeep as needed.
- Perform inspections and assessments of building conditions to identify areas requiring attention or improvement
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure building systems are operating at peak efficiency and to prevent unexpected downtime.
- Inspect and maintain HVAC systems electrical panels plumbing systems and other critical infrastructure.
- Maintain a log of completed tasks and upcoming maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:
- Respond to facility maintenance requests troubleshoot issues and implement timely solutions.
- Diagnose and repair faults in various systems including mechanical electrical and plumbing.
- Perform adjustments and calibrations to equipment as required to optimize performance.
- Building Systems Management:
- Monitor and operate building systems to ensure their proper function including HVAC fire suppression elevators security and energy management systems.
- Assist with upgrading modifying or optimizing building systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure all systems comply with local codes safety regulations and manufacturer recommendations.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow health safety and environmental regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all staff contractors and visitors.
- Conduct routine safety checks and assist with safety audits or inspections.
- Ensure compliance with building codes fire safety standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations such as power outages water leaks and other facility-related emergencies.
- Vendor Assistance:
- Supervise third-party contractors to ensure that they meet safety standards and work specifications.
- Emergency Maintenance:
- Be available for emergency response outside of regular working hours to address urgent repairs or operational issues.
- Provide first-response troubleshooting for facility breakdowns and coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities repairs inspections and safety compliance using PROMEIs service report and other standard template for reporting and documentation.
- Assist in keeping track of facility assets inventory and spare parts for future maintenance needs.
- Ensure all Jobs have Work Order and see to it the completion and closure of the ticket.
- Energy Efficiency & Sustainability:
- Identify opportunities for energy savings and operational efficiencies in building systems.
Assist with the implementation of sustainability initiatives and energy-saving projects
