About the Role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer Threatened Species to work as part of the team based in Coffs Harbour and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment of the beautiful local areas.
The Project Officer is responsible for providing diverse project and contract management support services for threatened species including preparation of reports and briefs coordinating resources maintaining project documentation implementing and monitoring project plans. An exciting opportunity to work within a high performing team to support National Parks and Wildlife Services programs of works.
About You
As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams. Ideally you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar.
In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills you will have proven ability to work with stakeholders to achieve program and project outcomes whilst exercising sound judgement and discretion.

About the Branch
The North Coast Branch manages over 200 parks and reserves in some of NSW most diverse and spectacular landscapes ranging from World Heritage rainforest and sub-alpine forests internationally recognised wetlands wilderness areas coastal heaths and iconic subtropical beaches.
We are the most biodiverse region in the state and manage ground-breaking conservation projects for threatened flora and fauna threatened ecological communities and climate adaptation. We live and work in vibrant coastal and rural communities and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders including Aboriginal traditional custodians and native title holders.
