Brendan House is looking for a dedicated Staffing Coordinator to manage and oversee the nursing departments (RN LPN CNA) daily scheduling and staffing.

What Youll Be Doing:

As the Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective scheduling of our nursing staff.

  • Managing the overall schedule balancing and filling open shifts.

  • Coordinating staffing reports to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Tracking attendance tardiness and incentive programs for managerial review.

  • Setting up system access for new hires and ensuring smooth onboarding related to scheduling.

  • Utilizing programs such as Microsoft Office API and data analytics programs

  • Providing exceptional customer service while working closely with nursing leadership and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:

    • Experience in a healthcare environment

    • Experience working with complex administrative support tasks

  • Inpatient staffing and scheduling experience preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. API Staffing & Scheduling and Meditech experience preferred.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Analyzes data trends abstracts data and creates timely reports and recommendations to assigned leadership team.

  • Coordinates creates and participates in the training implementation and maintenance of computer system programs per department protocol.

  • Acts as the primary resource for staffing and scheduling system. Provides professional support to assigned area(s).

  • Coordinates and oversees supplies and equipment specific to the assigned area(s).

  • Provides expertise and oversight of staffing patterns skill mix and staffing ratios.

  • Maintains records and statistics in an effort to improve continuity and increase efficiency.

  • Analyzes and develops reporting tools and metrics and creates methods for continuous tracking of sick calls staff turnover etc.

  • Accurately assists with the development preparation and maintenance of staffing schedules for assigned area(s). Collaborates with leadership to determine schedule period and daily unit staffing needs.

  • Works with leadership to set work priorities and respond to changing workload needs.

  • Exhibits excellent communication skills and professional interactions with all.

  • Functions in an advisory role to the assigned leadership team.

  • Adjusts staffing to accommodate changing patient census visit volume and/or acuity as designated for assigned area(s). Exhibits cost containment with all resources.

  • Adheres to and upholds Logan Health customer service policies and standards.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
