Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator supports warehouse operations including receiving staging inventory control and outbound shipping of temperature controlled medical products.
This role performs essential material handling tasks while following safety policies handling regulated materials and operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
Receiving
Receive raw materials components and inbound products
Verify quantities lot numbers and documentation
Perform system transactions for receipts and put-away
Identify discrepancies and escalate as needed
Outbound Shipping
Pick and stage orders using FIFO/FEFO sequencing
Pack domestic and international shipments
Prepare cold-chain shipments using insulated packaging dry ice gel packs etc.
Create shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups
Inventory Control
Assist with cycle counts and location audits
Support inventory reconciliation and system updates
Remove expired or damaged items from storage locations
Follow standard procedures for lot control and traceability
Cold-Chain & Regulated Material Handling
Work inside cold rooms (2 8 C) and freezers (-20 C)
Handle temperature-sensitive and time-critical products
Work with dry ice and cold-chain packaging
Handle regulated and hazardous materials in accordance with procedures
Equipment Operation
May operate:
Stand-up/sit-down forklift
Order picker
Pallet jacks
RF scanners
Cold-room material handling tools
Forklift certification can be provided on site.
Work Environment
Candidates must be able to:
Work inside refrigerated and frozen rooms
Lift up to 35 50 lbs repeatedly
Wear PPE and follow safety procedures
Stand and walk for extended periods
Required Skills
Warehouse or material handling experience
Ability to work in cold storage environments
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow written instructions and SOPs
Preferred Skills
Forklift experience
Cold-chain experience
Basic knowledge of hazardous material handling
Experience with medical or regulated product distribution
Additional Notes
All work is performed in a highly regulated environment
Training and certification will be provided
Ability to work overtime based on business needs
