Join our team in Northern New England as a Sr. Scientist and support impactful projects that protect and restore natural ecosystems. This senior-level position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities supporting sustainable land use habitat restoration and compliance with environmental regulations.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead projects with a natural resources focus including stream and wetland delineation and assessment permitting critical issues analysis and ecological restoration from the planning and design phases through completion

  • Delivery of projects to meet established budgets and delivery schedules to the performance expectations of the client

  • Conduct advanced field studies and data analysis

  • Provide technical direction and expertise to a multidisciplinary team of technical staff

  • Collaborate with clients regulatory agencies and internal teams to develop solutions for complex environmental challenges

  • Support or lead the preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits

  • Attend meetings with municipal officials other engineers developers permitting agencies and contractors

  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and company policies modeling best practices in sustainability and safety

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors in Biology Ecology Environmental Sciences or related field; Masters degree preferred

  • 15 years experience in natural resources surface water or ecological sciences

  • Excellent technical skills in the natural resources practice area

  • Ability and desire to obtain New England-based environmental certifications (Professional Wetland Scientist Certified Wildlife Biologist or similar)

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $95000 with final compensation determined based on years of experience qualifications and licensing status.
