Position: Full Time Customer Service Representative
Department: Patient Accounting
Shift: 40 hours per week 8 hour shift shifts varied
PURPOSE
The primary purpose of your position as Customer Service Representativeis to perform assigned duties in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures and as directed by your supervisor to assure that a successful viable department is maintained at all times. The primary duties of the Customer Service Representativeis to obtain payments on accounts owed for the services rendered and to assist patients with questions or concerns with their patient accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate with emphasis on clerical studies
- Some exposure to clerical responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle large variety of circumstances and conditions.
- Ability to work well with co-workers.
- Computer skills.
- Customer Service and phone experience a plus.
- Knowledge of insurance terminology helpful.
