Junior Automation Specialist
In this hands-on role you will be key in designing developing and deploying automated workflows and applications to streamline business processes. You will gain experience across the entire automation lifecycle from building solutions using low-code platforms to integrating them with core enterprise systems and providing essential technical support.
Location: Infomate Head Office Colombo 01
Shift: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate Power Apps and other RPA tools such as Appian UiPath or equivalent.
- Build and customize applications leveraging Dataverse SharePoint and Power BI to support automation requirements.
- Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems such as SAP SharePoint and other internal applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including Process Design Documents (PDDs) Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Evaluate and implement new automation technologies AI capabilities and best practices to optimize processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of automation workflows to ensure performance accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor troubleshoot and enhance deployed automations to ensure continued efficiency and stability.
- Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to business users for adopting automated solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in process automation or low-code application development ideally in an enterprise or service-based environment.
- Degree in IT or Software Development (specialized in automation preferred).
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate Power Apps Power BI Dataverse SharePoint).
- Working knowledge of RPA tools such as UiPath Automation Anywhere.
- Familiarity with scripting languages Python PowerShell or VBScript is a plus.
- Experience in integrating automation with ERP or document management systems (SAP SharePoint).
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
