Role Overview:


We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Legal
Counsel for EMEAto support and manage legal operations across the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance across a broad spectrum of legal areas including corporate commercial employment data protection The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risk while enabling business growth.


Key Responsibilities:



  • manage all legal matters across the EMEA region ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
  • Provide legal support across corporate commercial employment regulatory and litigation matters.
  • Advise on GDPR compliance and data protection strategies including incident response and privacy impact assessments.
  • Support HR and operational teams on employment law issues including contracts disputes and policy development.
  • Draft review and negotiate complex commercial agreements including vendor customer and partnership contracts.
  • Manage external counsel relationships and legal budgets across the region.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Lead internal training and awareness initiatives on key legal topics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Finance Compliance and Operations teams.

Qualifications & Experience:



  • Qualified lawyer with a legal degree and admission to practice in at least one EMEA jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience ideally in a multinational corporate environment or top-tier law firm.
  • Broad legal expertise across corporate commercial employment and regulatory law.
  • Strong working knowledge of GDPR and data protection frameworks.
  • Familiarity with health & safety legislation and its application in a corporate setting.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal issues across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
