OurChild Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our missionto continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements provide a variety of menu items and givethe healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available.

High school diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Refer to physical demand summary. Post-offer drug screening and physical (funded by the District) required prior to starting position.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Vocational training desirable in chefs training or any associate degree program in a related field. Valid South Dakota drivers license. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Prepares cooked foods such as main dishes vegetables sauces and gravies.
- Keeps production records for preparation and serving of all food used.
- Washesall small equipment after completion of task and in accordance with South Dakota sanitation and health guidelines.
- Adjusts recipes for varying quantities.
- Keeps work area clean with guidelines of South Dakota sanitation health regulations.
- Stores leftover food according to proper storage and safety procedures.
- Evaluates menu items for product standards.
- Follows safety procedures in the use of all equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

PAY INFORMATION
Level GX starting at $19.59 per hour - clickHEREto view the salary schedule.
Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
HOURS & FTE
Monday through Friday6:00 am to 2:00 pm with a working lunch
1.0 FTE 40 hours per week 9 months
