We currently have an opportunity for a Supervising Maintenance Technician. Join our team and play a key role in supporting our facilities maintenance and asset management activities under the Auckland Transport AMAS (Asset Management and Services) contract. Reporting to Site Manager/Station Lead youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
Te Kōwhiringa The Opportunity
The Supervising Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining critical station systems across the City Rail Link (CRL) andWaitematā Station network.
Youll assist and supervise service delivery partners while undertaking and coordinating maintenance activities in accordance with the AMAS Maintenance Plan including low-level maintenance tasks such as routine inspections cleaning and minor repairs to mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
This role combines hands-on technical work with oversight of subcontractor activities in a 24/7 operational rail environment supporting Downers commitment to Zero Harm reliability and service excellence.
What Youll Do (key responsibilities)
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
Work across three shift patterns and participate in an on-call roster as required.
The operation is staffed across 3 shifts and you need to be flexible to share an on-call roster.
