Job Summary

Want to be part of supporting PowerNet to meet the growing demands of our industry Join PowerNet as their Technical Maintenance Supervisor.

In this full-time roleworking 40 hours per week Monday to Friday you will lead a successful team that embraces PowerNets culture to achieve the safe and efficient completion of work.

You will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians technicians and apprentices involved in the installation and maintenance of substation and distribution equipment and cable networks. This role includes coordinating the teams work to ensure tasks and projects are completed efficiently while providing strong leadership and fostering a collaborative working environment.

About you; skills and experience:

  • National Certificate in Electrical Supply Level 4 or equivalent electrical technician or engineering qualification
  • NZ registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board and hold a current practicing licence.
  • A proven leader of people developing and growing capability.
  • At least 5 years relevant electricity experience including working with HV equipment.
  • Current Class 1 Drivers license
  • Computer literacy and an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Ability to review develop and implement changes with industry technology.
  • A good level of written and oral communication skills with proven experience with report writing.
